On the Ruta del Retinto 2019, La Bodega stood out even more, winning the award for the most innovative tapa and the first prize from the popular jury for "Chocolate Brownie". This culinary delight featured a Carrillada de Retinto al Pedro Ximenez brownie, accompanied by French fries ice cream and cheek juice syrup, fusing sweet and salty in a masterful way.
The recognition continued on the Ruta del Retinto 2023, where the restaurant impressed the popular jury with its artistic creation "Flor de Retinto". This inventive tapa featured a Wonton pasta flower filled with a retinto cheek stew, Payoyo cream cheese, guacamole and a touch of chiles, cilantro and lime peel, showcasing the chef's ability to harmoniously combine flavors and textures. These awards are not only a testament to the restaurant's culinary creativity, but also to its ongoing commitment to excellence and innovation in the world of gastronomy.
