How can I make a reservation?

You can make a reservation through our website, if you become a Q Hotels member you receive a discount, or if you prefer, you can call our reservations department or reception directly to make a reservation.

Can I modify or cancel my reservation?

If your reservation is flexible and is still within the cancellation period, you can easily modify it using your booking tracking number through your booking intermediary, either the hotel's website or another intermediary such as Booking. If you are not within the cancellation period or have a non-refundable reservation, you will need to make a special request through your intermediary or by calling the hotel reception.

Can I book by phone or only online?

You can book by both methods. The phone number to book at Cortijo de Zahara is 956 43 94 56.

Do you offer refundable and non-refundable rates?

Yes, we have flexible and non-refundable rates. The latter are usually cheaper, but you must pay the full amount of your stay at the time of booking and cannot be modified or cancelled free of charge (except in exceptional cases). Flexible bookings can be cancelled or modified up to 1 week before arrival. That is, if your booking is for July 9th, you have until 11:59 p.m. on July 1st to modify or cancel your reservation. After that date, you will automatically be charged the first night of each room in your reservation (for one room, 1 night; for two rooms, the first night of each room, i.e., 2 in total; for three rooms, 3 nights, etc.).

Can I make a reservation without a credit card?

No, we require a credit card as a guarantee for flexible bookings. The first night will be charged to the card you provided.

Is it possible to book connecting rooms?

Yes, it is possible. Connecting rooms are superior rooms. To reserve them, you must call the hotel reception directly, as they are subject to availability.

Can I make a reservation for someone else?

Sure, just indicate the name of the person who will be staying in the comment or create the reservation directly under the name of the person who will be staying.

Can I pay upon arrival or do I have to pay in advance?

Non-refundable reservations must be paid in full prior to arrival. For flexible reservations, the first night's deposit must be paid one week prior to arrival, and the remainder can be paid upon arrival.

Can I make a reservation for a long stay?

Can I receive packages at the hotel?

Yes, you can receive packages, but it is very important that you inform reception in advance.

The hotel has three covered parking spaces, all free for our guests. We also have outdoor areas where you can also park for free.

Except for the standard rooms, all our rooms have a balcony or terrace.

Can I bring my cat?

No, we do not accept pets, except guide dogs.

No, we do not have designated pet areas.

Do you have cribs or extra beds?

The hotel offers cribs, free of charge, and triple rooms. Both must be requested by calling the hotel reception.

Can I request an invoice?

No, the hotel does not offer this service.

Can I add breakfast if I didn't reserve it when making my reservation?

Yes, breakfast has options for vegans, vegetarians and celiacs.

Are there children's menu options with half board?

Yes, we have children's menu options. The MP children's menu works the same as the adult menu, but this one comes with a €12.50 discount per child per day.

What does half board include?

Half-board includes breakfast and dinner or breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is buffet-style, and dinner is à la carte, using a credit system. Each adult receives €25 daily to spend on the restaurant menu, excluding drinks. If you exceed €50 (for two adults), the remainder will be automatically charged to your room.

Do you offer activities or excursions?

We have a desk with information on activities and routes in the area. Our receptionists will also be happy to provide recommendations on restaurants and places to visit.

Are there gluten-free, vegan, or vegetarian options for breakfast?

Yes, breakfast has options for vegans, vegetarians and celiacs.

Can I leave my luggage before check-in or after check-out?

The hotel has a luggage storage facility where you can store your luggage until check-in time. Simply inform the reception team of your request upon arrival, and they will direct you to where you can store your luggage.

Can I reserve a parking space in advance?

No, you cannot book in advance.

What type of menu is offered for half board?

Half board is à la carte, not a menu.

Is early check-in or late check-out possible?

Early check-in depends on whether the property has clean rooms; if so, it is possible. Late check-out depends on daily room availability. You can inquire at reception about availability the day before your departure. The fee for late check-out is €10 per extra hour.

Is breakfast included?

Breakfast is included in all our reservations.

Is there a pool?

Yes, the hotel has three swimming pools. Two in the bar area and one in the sky bar. The pools are open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and the sky bar pool is open from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Does half board include drinks?

No, drinks are separate.

Does the hotel have charging stations for electric vehicles?

Our hotel does not have electric charging points.

What type of parking do you have? (covered, uncovered, guarded)

We have 3 covered parking spaces and an outdoor area.

Do you provide pool/beach towels?

Yes, the hotel provides pool towels. Towels are subject to a coin exchange system, which will be given to you upon check-in if you need them.

Can I leave my car in the parking lot after check-out?

Yes, you can leave your car in our parking lot for a few hours.

I received an email informing me that a payment error occurred. What should I do?

The card you provided when making your reservation has likely been declined. Reception will contact you to arrange payment for your reservation.

How many floors does the hotel have?

The hotel is divided into 4 buildings, 3 of them with two floors and one with a ground floor.

Is there public transportation near the hotel?

There is a bus stop just a few meters from our hotel.

Can I pay in cash?

As long as your total reservation doesn't exceed €1,000, you can pay in cash.

Do you have Wi-Fi? Is it free?

Yes, the hotel has free Wi-Fi; no password is required. Reception will tell you the network name and how to connect.

Is the parking lot close to the hotel entrance?

Our parking is inside the hotel.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is at 12:00, but late check-out may be possible depending on availability. Ask at reception in the morning of your departure if a late check-out is possible. They will be able to confirm whether or not it will be possible and the cost.

Our hotel does not offer full board, you can only book bed and breakfast or half board (breakfast and dinner).

No, cribs are free of charge, but triple rooms are. Children over 3 years old pay 25% off the price and adults pay 50%. Please check with the hotel reception.

Breakfast includes a hot and cold section. Fruit, a variety of breads, cold cuts, juices, yogurts, etc.

What is your cancellation policy?

Flexible rate reservations can be modified or canceled free of charge 7 days before arrival. Non-refundable reservations cannot be modified or canceled free of charge at any time.

Is there street parking near the hotel?

Yes, you can park on the streets near the hotel.

Where is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served in the breakfast room, which is located on the ground floor of Block 2.

Do you have laundry service?

Yes, the hotel offers a laundry service. You'll find a bag and a price list in your room's closet. Once you've filled out the form, you can leave it next to the laundry bag on your bed, and our staff will collect it. Your laundry will be ready within 24 hours.

Do you have a gym or spa?

Yes, the hotel has a small wellness area, for an additional charge of €5 per person per day. Massages and beauty services must be booked directly at the spa or by calling 673919365. We do not have a gym.

What are the half-board meal times?

Breakfast is from 8:30 to 11 a.m. and dinner is from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. in low season and from 8:30 to 11 p.m. in high season.
